CIDO is pleased to share that earlier this week we presented Mohamed Hamed, CEO and founder of the Mariam Foundation, with a check for $25,000 to support the critical work of the Mariam Foundation. CIDO hosted a reception for Mohamed and the presentation of the check where we were joined by generous donors who have supported our Urgent Gaza Relief Fund to support the Mariam Foundation. The Mariam Foundation is the official representative of Palestinian cancer patients in hospitals and healthcare services in Gaza. It provides the support that patients and their families require to overcome cancer. The Mariam Foundation offers financial and emotional support, daily companions for children in hospitals when their parents cannot be with them and covers cancer treatment expenses.
