On behalf of the Sporas team, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude for your generous support of our annual Land Day Fundraiser Dinner.
This year’s event, held on Sunday, April 5, 2026 at Victoria Park Pavilion, brought together 150 attendees in commemoration of Palestinian history and culture. It was inspiring to see our community come together — families, friends, and supporters — united in celebrating Palestinian heritage, connection, and purpose.
With your support, we are proud to share that we raised over $30,000 for Glia Gaza, with all proceeds directed toward funding the Wound Care Clinic. This contribution will directly support the delivery of urgently needed medical care and equipment, making a tangible difference for communities in Gaza.
The evening was further enriched by the presence of our wonderful vendors including Romanna Coffee Cart, Mosaic of Cultures, Hanadi Bader Paints, and Butterfly Krafts, as well as a vibrant musical performance by Al Salam Band, all of which created a warm and engaging atmosphere. A highlight of the night was our panel discussion featuring Dr. Dorotea Gucciardo and Dr. Nahla Al Sarraj who offered a powerful insight into the realities facing Gaza’s healthcare system and underscored the critical importance of sustained advocacy and support
