CIDO partnership with Mariam Foundation to save children in Palestine
In a continued effort to make a difference, the Canadian International Development Organization (CIDO) and its CEO, Shawky Fahel, recently hosted Mohamed Hamed, CEO of the Mariam Foundation, in Canada for a special event. This gathering brought together CIDO’s supporters and partners to bolster efforts to save children in Palestine.
As part of this partnership, CIDO has pledged to raise $100,000 this year to support the Mariam Foundation. Already, $25,000 has been donated, marking a significant step towards their shared goal.
During the event, in recognition of his dedication, Shawky Fahel was honored as the first Canadian Mariam Ambassador for the Mariam Foundation. From the start, Shawky has expressed a deep connection to the foundation’s mission and has committed to gathering support across Canada for this meaningful cause. In appreciation, Mohamed Hamed presented Shawky with the signature pink scarf of the Mariam Foundation, symbolizing his role as an honorary ambassador in Canada.
