Addressing needs of Northern Indigenous communities.
Arctic 360 is a partnership with the Bill Graham Centre for Contemporary International History, the Munk School as well as Trinity College, University of Toronto. Its aims are: to bring together key sectors of society as a means to support arctic sustainable development; to ensure development is led by Northern communities themselves; and, education dissemination to the broader public.
CIDO has identified a relationship with Arctic 360 to undertake projects related to community economic development in Arctic Canada, Alaska and Greenland. The relationship supports the development of educational, economic development conferences and other related activities that ensure indigenous communities in the Canadian Arctic have the same opportunities for health and prosperity as southern Canadian communities.
